The Elmo 02 collection was created to expand the range of regular Montegrappa writing instruments.

Like the popular Elmo 01 collection, it is distinguished by attention to detail and the highest level of design elaboration.

Once again, the Montegrappa archive from the beginning of the last century became a source of inspiration for the design of the collection.

The vintage conical silhouette of the body is complemented by a wide conical top on the cap.

The barrel and cap are made from jewelry grade acrylic resin and are available in two unique color options as an alternative to the standard black.

The Sorapis model adds cobalt blue acrylic to a white and black base, while Asiago focuses on red and olive tones.

The textures generated when mixing are random, making each pen completely unique.

Montegrappa’s Elmo 02 series of writing instruments pays homage to the company’s humble roots and the vision of its original co-founder and technical director, Heinrich Helm. The oldest Italian factory that today produces luxury writing instruments was among the first (1912-1928) to dedicate itself to the democratization of writing in Europe. In those days, portable pens were a new technology, full of problems, and still seeking widespread acceptance.

The first Italian manufacturer of writing instruments produced innovative models for their time, democratic, accessible to many, and convenient to carry with you at all times. It was Heinrich Helm’s know-how and his criteria of “portability, reliability and efficiency” that formed the basis of the first pens that subsequently conquered the entire world.

The body of the modern Montegrappa Elmo 02 ballpoint pen is made of precious black resin, with steel trim elements. The cap has the inscription “Montegrappa”. The elegant fluted brass clip reminds us that the magnificent design is timeless. The writing instrument is left in a branded gift box.
